MODEL PHARMACY:

A Model Pharmacy is a simulated, real-world pharmacy setting designed to train students in essential pharmacy skills. It’s a place where students can practice dispensing medications, counseling patients, and managing pharmacy operations, all under the guidance of instructors. The college has its own Model Pharmacy to provide on board training to the Pharmacist. The model pharmacy is well equipped with computers with pharmacy software, drug information book, health display, dummy devices, information leaflet etc

ESSENTIAL SERVICES:

Our campus is monitored 24*7 through CCTV cameras for safety, security and discipline. The institution maintains proper fire fighting arrangements to secure the well being of the students, faculty and staff members in case of any emergency. Care for the students is our main priority and to provide them with comfort during power cuts, generator facility has been added. The campus is having banking facilities and ATM

MEDICAL AND EMERGENCY SERVICES:

Within campus, medical facility has provided for students and staff in any medical emergency as the campus has its own Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Hospitals. All the specialty hospitals are very much in the vicinity and in immediate reach in case of any emergency situation.

SPORTS:

The campus has well equipped games and sports department under charge of physical director of SGI. Students are encouraged to play various indoor and outdoor games and sports. Students are encouraged to participate in competitions held across the state and outside the state. SGI conducts sports and games as a part of college annual Sports Meet. All SGI Students participated in university, state and national & international level tournaments.

HOSTEL:

The institute ensures that students dwell in a healthy environment that helps them to grow and learn without any obstacle. The campus has Hostel Facilities separately for Girls and Boys studying in different institutions of SGI. The hostel is located within the campus. Students staying in the hostel have access to all the amenities present within the campus. Life in a college hostel is full of pleasures and amusements. It is a place where food and lodging are provided for students. Life in a hostel makes a student self-dependent. It makes him smart, active and disciplined. It gives all the students an ample chance to learn how to lead an independent and responsible life.

TRANSPORT FASCILITY:

SGI provides transport facilities for students in the daytime. Our buses travel to and from multiple routes around the city. The location of our college is quite convenient as it is easily accessible for both private and public transportation services.

TRAINING AND PLACEMENT:

In our Institute there is a dedicated cell for training and placement. The institute helps students for industrial, hospital training. Institute also helps students for their placement in the different pharmaceutical sector. Training may be conducted with internal experts or by hiring external agencies. The placement training partners organizes Campus interviews by reputed companies, with the aim of placing all the eligible students before the end of their studies. The training and placement offers a wide range of training programme, designed for equipping the students with employability as Aptitude & Reasoning Training, Technical Training, Communication skills, Group Discussion, Time Management, Team Management, Personality Development, Leadership Skills, and Interview Skills

In our college we are conducting campus interviews for the students so that they can be placed in MNC for their better future endeavor. Many companies are recruiting throughout the year in different sectors such as in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, Sales and Marketing, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical pharmacy, Hospital pharmacy.
